Read the last four rows as two pairs. Under the shipped v4 caption the two models are indistinguishable, and main is fractionally worse (13.6 vs 14.8) — that is the tie the v3.1 lock rested on. Give both models the darken clause and they separate: main reaches 60% of the editor against ablation's 49%, and pulls the openings down to 211 against 224 (the editor sits at 181). main + B wins on 4 of 5 scenes and essentially matches the editor on Tacoma s008 (35.8 vs 34.4).

What this does and does not show. It shows the v3.1 ablation-vs-main tie was measured under a caption that suppressed the capability separating the two models. It does not re-measure whole-frame tonal quality, which is what the 4.29-vs-4.34 aggregate covered, and it is 5 scenes on one metric. Windows only.
